God says we the temple of the Living God, therefore, the people of God are the Church of Jesus Christ. If we had it our way we’d worship Him in places like the glorious Grand Canyon any old day.

     We are a Church first and a Family second. Our Shepherds, are our parents- Clareann and Phil. They lovingly lead our little flock in submission to the Holy Spirit.   In our Home Church of 37 years we gather together to worship God and share our hearts and spiritual gifts with one another.  Mom and I lead worship with great old Hymns, old and new Spirit filled choruses, and some of the 2,000 songs Mom has written.

We read the Bible, hear a message and close with Communion and prayer. Each one of us has a special ministry of a Psalm, song, reading or praise reports. Even little Clare passes around the Communion bread. Derek Prince often visits via video with awesome Bible lessons and humble inspirations. Not only do we espouse all his doctrines, years of certain confusing Scriptures have been clarified.

 Of course our Church is a lot more than on Sunday, and that’s what really makes a true Christian, what’s happening at home. That’s really where the love grows, and that’s what Jesus is all about,“For God is love.” 1 John 4             Lisa

            God joined Mom and Dad in marriage 35 years ago in 1982, and they are a constant reminder that “God is Love” and Jesus Saves.  When Mom was left alone with 7 girls ages 3- 16, Dad said on their first date, “I think God meant me to pick up where one man left off.”   They say, Love is Blind, and while Dad admits to this when he met Mom, he claims next to asking Jesus into his heart, it was the best decision of his life.

    It wasn’t easy for a bachelor to raise an instant family of toddlers to teens, but because of their unified love for Jesus and faithful commitment to His Word, God’s Amazing Grace conquered all.   All 7 sisters were adopted in 1995, and in 2007 God brought the 8th daughter, beautiful Clare, adopted at 6 months old with special needs. “You are aware that she will never speak” they told us.  But Clare, born at 1 lb 10 oz is now perfectly healthy. Jesus still does miracles! Together we all look, “To the City of the Living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem” (Heb.12) and Praise God for His amazing deliverances, “For great in our midst is the Holy One of Israel!”   Amen. Jesus is Lord!
