Lions and Prophets and Lies
“And he said to him, " I also am a prophet like you, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord saying, 'Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.'" But he lied to him." 1 Kings 13:18
I can't imagine the pain of Mark Conditt's "devout Christian Family...who will have to bury their son in pieces" in Pflugerville, Texas, as well as the loss of the victims of the Austin Serial Bomber.
The parents Homeschooled Mark and his 3 younger sisters, held Bible studies and helped others in their community. What happened? Governor Matt Bevin of Kentucky gives a heads up, saying we can expect these things to happen as long as we "Celebrate death" in videos, TV, movies, and music.
But what's that got to do with Lions and Prophets and Lies?
When Solomon worshipped Ashtoreth, Chemosh, and Milcom, God gave his kingdom over to his servant Jeroboam. When Jeroboam instituted false worship while burning incense to his golden calves, a Young Prophet prophesied judgment and turned his hand to leprosy.
Young Prophet disobeys
When the Old Prophet heard of his miracles, he summoned him to his house with a lie. The young Prophet was told to go straight home, but was led away by the Old Prophet. A lion killed the Young Prophet but he didn't eat him. He just stood by his dead body. Wow! The lions obey God, but not His prophets?
Daniel obeyed God. Daniel didn't lie. Daniel was saved. The prophets and priests who teach God's people these days are not like Daniel. They’re like the Old Prophet and the Young Prophet. They lie and are disobedient. And the same God uses the mouth of many disobedient Christian leaders today who worship the golden calves of money and other false gods as others before them. Who else has He to speak His words and do His deeds? Not many. And the flock of God is left to the wolves.
American Kingdom of Solomon
We in America are in the prosperous, disobedient Kingdom of Solomon. Lies and lust and false gods run rampant in the congregations. Demons are free to inhabit even the sweetest souls and no one wants to "judge." In truth, no one wants to "help." Equally harmful are the demons causing ”strife among brothers” by judging wrongly, ruining Godly pastors and sincere Christians. Prov. 6:19
Derek Prince was a leader in disclosing the destruction of demons, giving us the tools to drive them out. Even in Christians? Yes. Demons enter souls of unrepentant sinners and the protection of the Blood of Jesus is not there, leaving them as open targets. Yet Derek said his teachings to Americans were not well received.
Attacks on children
Will they listen now? Now that the Austin Serial Bomber, "a nice kid from a great family" is compelled by demons to destroy human beings?
Two Wisconsin 12 year old girls were summoned by Slender Man to stab their friend 19 times or be harmed. Children are gullible. Now in August Sony debuts a movie of this tragedy to further the demon's destruction. SICK! And everyone asks, WHY? I know why. Satan has free reign in the Body of Christ as well as in the World.
Preachers and the great commission
In the final Commission of Jesus Christ, His first command was to "CAST OUT DEMONS." Mk. 16:17 In Mark 3: 14,15 “He appointed twelve… that He might send them out to preach, and to have authority to cast out the demons.” What could be plainer than that?
But many preachers just "tickle the ears" to pad their pockets and build up their pride. Do they think demons are gone from the world? Derek said, "the worst sin is pride." Do they rail against pride? No. Only the world's sins.
Too many of God’s people "tolerate" the hypocrites and He has this against them. (Rev. 2:20) Recently my daughter joined in the praise of a classy Christian man's assessment of the Billy Graham funeral. "But why," she asked "did they invite men like Jim Bakker?" "Oh, I don't know" he mumbled in obvious discomfort. Does he not know that this felon stole the widow's money and got another TV show to do it all over again? Then he gets this honorable invite from the Grahams?
Derek and demonic strongholds
That's why Derek Prince wasn't popular here as he still is in about 140 other Countries. You see, we "don't judge." All those who enter into the deep things of the soul open themselves up to demons. Not possession, necessarily. But strongholds. Derek Prince has extensive teaching videos and books on this and 55 years of victorious Christian living. Derek was not an Old Prophet liar (like some I could name). And he wasn't a disobedient Young Prophet either.
As led by Derek, our Church Family has cast out many demonic strongholds and the TRUTH has made us FREE. Jesus came to heal and save, but the Christian Church looks away from Truth. "For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep. But if we judged ourselves rightly, we should not be judged." 1 Cor. 11:30
The soon return of Jesus Christ
We eagerly await the return of Jesus Christ as, "Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him." Heb. 9:28 As we board a plane for Jerusalem on May 14th, the 70th Anniversary of Israel's birth as a nation, we are excited to walk where Jesus walked and bring the light of His love everywhere we go.
We are not afraid of the lions and tigers and bears of the region because we pray to live in obedience to God's Word “and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.” 1 Jn. 3:22 We confess our sin and hold ourselves accountable to God and man, and "bring forth fruit in keeping with repentance." Matt. 3:8

And we pray for Christian leaders to repent and learn the lessons of the Lions and Prophets and Liars, for God says, “They have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean… and I am profaned among them.” Ez. 22:26 TO HEAR “REPENT” IS TO HEAR THERE’S HOPE!
Franklin Graham says our culture ”seems fixated on death and gore” and that’s all too real for the families of the victims of these demonic, senseless killings of late. But the Bible says, “If… My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14
We pray for those courageous preachers who do teach “The whole council of God”. God bless you! And we pray for our country to heed God’s Word and be delivered that He, "Dost extend (His) hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Thy holy servant Jesus." Acts 4:30
